Who Are We?

The New News is a YouTube channel and organization dedicated to providing principally and morally just news to the world. This means always delivering you with the facts, striving to be non-biased, and leaving the opinion pieces to the other guys. Our popularity doesn't matter to us, whether it's 3 or 300,000 people who are watching, all that matters is that it is right every time.

We are always going to be a force for good. No Super Chats, no crazy ways to make revenue. Our streams are always in support of a charity. Every time we go live, there will always be a fundraiser attached. If we can, making sure it is an organization that deals closely with that day's issues.

Our Mission Statement
To present you the most accurate and unbiased news possible and be a continual force for good.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! (22 March 2023 - 21:22 EST)

We at The New News LLC have continued to work incredibly hard to ensure that donation links provided are safe and secure. However, after recent information has started to come to light regarding at least one of the organization we have been supporting, our links are being reviewed. As part of this re-review process, we have removed two (2) donation links from out lists. These are:

Ripley's Heroes: This organization was supporting Ukrainian troops on the frontline, and mostly gained their platform through (Former) Lt. Col Ripley Rawlings (USMC) and (Former) SSG James Vasquez (US Army). However, despite being a prominent speaker at the US Helsinki Commission in 2022, and also despite being active since April 2022, Ripley's Heroes has yet to have received an independent review of their financial records, nor have they received the 501c3 tax designation for a non-profit in the United States. Furthermore, allegations of possible charity fraud and misinformation on the part of Mr. Vasquez have moved us to take action.

Harry Gregg: Harry Gregg reached out to ourselves, as well as other communities in which we have connections to, seeking assistance. All communities collectively vetted him, including known members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and Foreign Legion. The fundraiser was to raise money to replace a damaged medical evacuation vehicle. However, at this point, no donation links provided work. There has not been any communication in regards to the fundraiser in several months. We will be removing it due to lack of activity and abundance of caution as we continue to improve our processes.

The time between becoming aware of the allegations/concern until the removal of the links after a preliminary re-review was roughly 1.5 hours. We continue to remain dedicated in our work, and in supporting people throughout the world through bringing awareness and offering ways to safely donate. We continue to strive in improving our vetting processes for sources and donation links to proactively minimize misinformation, charity fraud, and safety/security concerns for our community. Likewise, we are very happy with our reactive measures and the ability to immediately, and publicly, address the concerns and decisions of our staff team.

In the mean time, while we do our best to provide safe and secure platforms to donate to through our vetting process, it must be understood that no process is 100% effective. As such, we always encourage that you are practicing internet safety and security, and that you do research on the organizations that you wish to donate to in the future. Please be sure to check out the US Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) charity fraud website by clicking here. Thank you for your understanding!
